thoughtful
thoughtfuli've been feeling unmotivated to do blog posts lately... probably cuz i'm too busy doing other things online: job hunting, signing online petitions, doing advocacy stuff, checking billions of emails--mostly from the san jose barack obama group, and looking for a new place to live (2 bedroom that allows dogs and isn't ridiculously overpriced!).
damn living in this area! i would move if only the sf bay area wasn't one of the greatest places in the world to live. okay, i realize i haven't been to that many places, but it does beat most places in the US.
i'm behind on movies... i still need to see hot fuzz & spidey 3.
i attempted to plant some pesto basil & oregano herbs this weekend. i used old peets cups from my teas because a green article suggested it. i poked holes to allow the water to flow a bit... it is supposed to only take 7-14 days to sprout. we'll see.
this weekend i'm gonna be doing some more planting with my nephew dylan, while my niece just acts blobby (eats & sleeping) because she's only like 2 months old.
time for lunch.
oh yeah, i've done my show for three weeks now & i'm gettin' more used to it. check out playlist archives here--> www.kscudjnicole.blogspot.com

creativelast night i saw reign over me. it was a little long but it was a pretty decent movie. i got a little teary & most of the time i bought into adam sandler playing a heavier character and even forgot it was him until his bouts of screaming (there's no mistaking a sandler scream).
still gotta see grindhouse, and apparently so do a lot of people since it's not making much $$$.
alright, time for me to get outta here.
sleepyit's my comfort food after being poked and prodded and scraped getting my pap smear today. yeah i said it. but at least i went. women: please please please take care of your damned vagina & all it's friends. women fought (and continue) to have equal access to health care. don't take it for granted.
alright. back to my sandwich & fries... and yes, work.
happylove, nicole.
satisfiedI attempted to do my show today but failed miserably. I got up in time, took a shower & made it over to SCU by 7:10 (my show starts at 7 a.m.), but I figured getting there a little late wasn't too bad cuz no one is on before me, plus I pretty much knew I wouldn't even be able to get into the station.
Why? Because like a jackass I didn't reactivate my access card in time for my show & Santa Clara University has stricter policies now about gaining access, etc. I was able to sneak into the Swig Dorm building via a SCU student but couldn't get in through the station door. (I was half-hoping it would be propped/someone would be there---haha.. okay more like hoping for a miracle.)
Therefore, my show will begin NEXT TUESDAY, from 7-9 a.m. I promise I will get my damn card activated and not be a jackass and lag. And I will actually be prepared for the show, with lots of interesting info about awareness events & ready to play awesome cool music.
Are any of you even up @ that hour?
geekyAfter about a year (or has it been two years?) break, I'm ready to go back to playing music & puttin' a social change/current events spin on it.

Though, my DJ name won't be twilight anymore (or cinnamon toast crunch--for those that remember), it'll just be "nicole." I know, not creative, but I couldn't think of anything cool, and I kinda wanna just do my own thing.
workingI guess it's pretty hard to top Zoolander & Anchorman.
I'm Ron Burgand-y?
Basically now I can just post stupid-silly shit for my own amusement and for the few others who might find it amusing in some way or another. Plus, I can keep some posts more private just in case I need to vent about someone or something.
I have nothing else really to post about... I am finally going to see Blades of Glory tonight. Ya'll know I'm quite the Will Ferrell fan... and this one looks pretty stupidly awesome. I'll make sure to post about it later...
